ClaimsAssist

Terms of Service

ClaimsAssist is a passenger claims service operated by Claims Assist Limited. Claims other than those under the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations are assessed and pursued by our claims handling partner Reclaims4U Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 06651869), with whom you contract when you sign the terms of engagement presented before we act. Claims under the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations 2023 are handled by Claims Assist Limited directly, under separate terms presented before you sign.

Our service is strictly no win, no fee: a success fee of 30% (plus VAT where applicable) is deducted from compensation actually recovered. If your claim does not succeed you pay nothing — no fee, nothing upfront, ever. The success fee does not increase however far your claim has to be escalated.

Compensation is not always paid in cash. If an airline settles your claim with travel vouchers or credit, that counts as compensation and the success fee is calculated on its face value — meaning it would be payable in cleared funds rather than deducted. We will always tell you before any such offer is accepted, and you may instruct us to reject it.

If the airline pays you directly rather than through us, please tell us within 7 days and settle the success fee within 14 days.

You may cancel within 14 days of signing at no cost. After that you may cancel at any time, but the success fee remains payable if the airline has already made an offer on your claim.

Where Reclaims4U Ltd pursues your claim, compensation is paid to them under the payment mandate you sign. The success fee is deducted and the balance paid to you within 10 working days of cleared funds.

Not every disruption is covered. Standalone Montreal Convention claims, including baggage-only claims outside Nigeria, and US domestic claims are not accepted by either party — the checker tells you so before you give us any details. Claims against German carriers cannot currently be pursued and are recorded as an expression of interest only.

You confirm the information you provide is accurate, that you were a passenger (or the legal guardian of a passenger) on the flight concerned, and that you have not assigned the claim elsewhere or already been compensated for it.

Claims management is not a regulated activity for these purposes: we are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, and our service is not covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. If you are unhappy with our service, contact us at info@claimshub.online and we will respond within 14 days.

Complaints about claims run by Reclaims4U Ltd are handled under their complaints procedure. You can raise them with us at any time and we will forward them the same day.

The full terms of engagement — and, where Reclaims4U Ltd handles your claim, their Terms of Business and Letter of Authority and Payment Mandate — are presented in full for you to read and e-sign before anyone acts on your claim.
