As an EU carrier, Ryanair is bound by EU Regulation 261/2004 on every flight departing the EU/EEA — and, crucially, also on flights *into* the EU from anywhere in the world. A 3-hour arrival delay, a cancellation with under 14 days' notice, or an involuntary bump entitles you to fixed cash compensation regardless of your ticket price.
